Corporate History

Fathom Energy was established in 2004 to service the growing marketing and consulting needs of the Western Canadian energy market. Today, Fathom has over 100 years in collective energy trading experience and serves a client list that includes many of the major integrated energy corporations.

On the strength of its direct oil sands experience and key contacts in energy transportation and logistics, Fathom has provided strategic consulting services to the Canadian Oil Sands Trust, Arctic Gas and Chevron Corporation. Fathom also holds a long-term supply and service agreement with the largest consumer of butane in Western Canada, and maintains close relationships with a majority of the major oil producers in the region.
